Young Man Arrested While Reading Bible On Sidewalk During Drag Event Refuses To Back Down, Reads Bible During City Council Meeting

A video that made its way to Twitter on July 31st showed a young man in the town of Waterton, Wisconsin, Marcus Schroeder, arrested by the local police for using a microphone while reading a Bible out loud on the sidewalk during a “Pride” event, a drag queen even called “Pride in the Park.” He refused, however, to back down; once out of jail, he went and read the Bible at a city council meeting in the same town.

The original video went viral when posted by a conservative Twitter account, which said, “🚨BREAKING: Young man arrested for sharing the Bible on a public sidewalk. Blatant violation of the 1st amendment of The Constitution. Every one of those cops should be fired and sued.
