Anisse plans a fancy dinner at home for her husband Carl’s birthday, but her mother-in-law, Sally, takes over. Sally insists on a traditional cookie recipe, sending Anisse to the store to buy ingredients. When Anisse returns, Carl accuses her of neglecting his mom. The guests arrive, and it’s revealed that Sally orchestrated the drama to make herself the hero. Even the birthday cake is presented by Sally. The next day, Sally accidentally reveals her plan to Carl, who confronts her about it. Sally admits to disliking Anisse due to differing views on religion and family. Despite forgiveness, Anisse promises a drama-free birthday celebration in Bali the next year.
