Rock music legend Ozzy Osbourne has announced his retirement from live performances due to health issues stemming from a severe spinal injury and his Parkinson’s disease diagnosis four years ago.
The 74-year-old musician had planned a European tour in 2019, which was postponed to 2021 and then eventually canceled. Ozzy cited the effects of his spinal injury, multiple surgeries, stem cell therapy, and cybernetics (HAL) therapy as reasons for his retirement.
He expressed his gratitude to his family, bandmates, crew members, friends, and devoted fans who have supported him throughout his career. Ozzy’s music will continue to influence generations of fans, even though his live performances are ending. He encourages everyone to take care of their health and seek medical attention when necessary.
