Shannen Doherty Reveals Her Burial & Funeral Plans as She Battles Stage 4 Cancer

Shannen Doherty, battling stage 4 cancer, recently shared her funeral plans, aiming for a celebration of life rather than a somber occasion. In an interview, she expressed her desire for a memorial at her home, resembling a joyful gathering. Preferring cremation, Doherty wishes to have her ashes mixed with those of her dog and late father.

Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, Doherty underwent treatments and achieved remission after two years. The cancer resurfaced in 2019, progressing to metastatic stage 4 in the following year. Despite the spread to her brain and bones, Doherty remains resilient, embracing each day positively. She acknowledges the impact of IVF on her cancer risk, linking it to her journey to become a mother.

The actress continues to raise awareness and funds for cancer research while expressing gratitude for life, emphasizing her ongoing determination.
