The sudden death of character actor Peter Greene has left friends and neighbors deeply shaken. Best known for his roles in Pulp Fiction and The Mask, Greene was found dead in his New York apartment on December 12, 2025. Neighbors grew concerned after Christmas music played nonstop for days, prompting police to enter the apartment. Greene was discovered face down with visible injuries, and a note reading “I’m still a Westie” was found nearby.
Authorities say no foul play is suspected, pending an autopsy. His manager said Greene seemed normal during their last conversation just days earlier and was preparing for minor lung surgery. Despite personal struggles in his past, Greene was remembered as kind and helpful. He is survived by his 16-year-old son.
