National Prayer Movement Bringing Young Students To Christ

See You at the Pole, a global ministry, is reaching out to Gen Z and young Americans to encourage them to rediscover God through prayer rallies around school flagpoles. Started in 1990 with ten students praying at their school, the movement has grown into millions of students praying on campuses on the fourth Wednesday in September.

It’s a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led event. This year’s theme is Jeremiah 29:13, which emphasizes seeking God with one’s whole heart. Doug Clark, the national field director for the National Network of Youth Ministries, which is involved with See You at the Pole, noted that seeking God wholeheartedly is a central message of the movement.
