My Son’s Wedding Turned out to Be a Nightmare after the Maid-of-Honor’s Speech

Linda was confident she had raised her son right. He was about to marry a nice girl, Carrie, and they had plans for a joint business venture. However, a single speech from the maid of honor was about to ruin her son’s image.

Linda prided herself on raising Connor to be a gentleman. When he brought Carrie home, Linda welcomed her warmly. Carrie seemed modest despite her wealthy background, and Linda was excited about their future business plans. However, as the wedding approached, Carrie seemed anxious.

On the wedding day, the maid of honor, Susan, gave a speech that changed everything. “Carrie, you’ve been my best friend, but I can’t lie anymore. Connor and I have been having an affair for months!” Silence fell over the room. Carrie laughed bitterly and revealed she had suspected them, installing hidden cameras to catch them.

Carrie grabbed the microphone. “Thanks to my dad, we drafted a prenup that Connor signed. Infidelity leaves him with nothing! Enjoy your cake, lovebirds—it’s laced with laxatives!” Chaos erupted as guests ran to the toilets. Amid the confusion, Carrie reassured Linda, “You’ve been kind to me. Enjoy the cake.”

Linda left the wedding hall feeling shattered. She realized she didn’t truly know the man she raised.
