When Lisa’s husband, Tom, starts hounding her about getting a second job, she becomes suspicious. Finally, fed up with his nagging, Lisa gets a job. Once there, Lisa learns a horrible truth about her husband.
“I’m the one who makes more money,” Lisa told her mom. “Why should I get a second job?”
“Maybe his business isn’t doing well,” her mom suggested.
Lisa knew Tom’s business was thriving. But he persisted, even demanding she wash his work overalls better. Frustrated, Lisa decided to get a job at the bowling alley Tom frequented, hoping to make him jealous.
On her first night, Lisa wore the revealing uniform, attracting attention from the male patrons. When Tom arrived, his eyes darkened seeing her in the tight dress.
“What are you doing, Lisa?” he fumed.
“You wanted me to get a second job,” she replied.
As the night progressed, Lisa’s manager, Ursula, revealed a shocking truth: “That man has seduced almost all the waitresses here. One even had his child two weeks ago.”
Lisa’s world shattered. Tom had been unfaithful, fathering a child with a waitress. Enraged, Lisa confronted him.
“You’re disgusting!” she screamed, slapping him. “You’ve been involved with the waitresses here?! And one just had your baby?”
Tom’s face went pale. “I can explain,” he stammered.
“I don’t want to hear it,” Lisa said coldly. “Pack your things and get out tonight. Tomorrow, I will file for divorce.”
Heartbroken, Lisa stormed out, leaving behind the man she thought she knew.
