My Husband Saw Our Newborn & Threw My Things Out on the Street – Then He Got a DNA Test

A 24-year-old woman shared her distress on Reddit after her husband, Jim, accused her of infidelity due to their newborn’s dark skin tone. Jim publicly accused her on social media, leading to family and friends ostracizing her. He refused to pick her up from the hospital, emptied the nursery, and changed the locks, prompting her to stay with her parents. Jim eventually agreed to a paternity test, which unexpectedly showed a 100% DNA match.

The baby’s dark skin tone was attributed to the family’s 30% African ancestry. Despite Jim’s apology, the woman couldn’t forget the trauma. She posted on Reddit seeking advice, with users urging her not to forgive him. In an update, she revealed her decision to separate from Jim, maintaining primary custody while allowing supervised visits.

Shockingly, during couples therapy, Jim confessed to cheating during their dating days, leading the woman to decide on divorce once their daughter turns one.
