I Visited My Husband’s University Class – When I Saw My Face on His Lecture Slide, I Gasped

When I surprised my husband by delivering his forgotten lunch to his university class, I never expected to stumble upon a nightmare. Seeing my face on his lecture slide, described in humiliating terms, shattered my world.

My name is Janet, and my husband, Mark, is a psychology professor. We’ve been married for ten years. Mark often forgets his lunch, and this morning was no different. I decided to bring it to him, thinking it might brighten his day.

At the university, I found his auditorium and quietly sat at the back. Mark was discussing psychological experiments. Suddenly, he mentioned, “To prove the point, I recreated the experiment on my wife.”

My blood froze as my face appeared on the screen with unflattering descriptions. Mark had been planting a false childhood memory in my mind for weeks, recording it all without my knowledge. Rage and betrayal surged through me.

I stood up and confronted him, “What if your wife found out about you experimenting on her? How would that go for you?”

The students turned, and Mark’s confident demeanor crumbled. He tried to explain it as a scientific finding, but I couldn’t believe his audacity. “You humiliated me in front of your students. This isn’t about science; it’s about trust, and you shattered it.”

I stormed out, my heart pounding. The betrayal was too deep. Trust is the foundation of any relationship, and Mark had destroyed ours. As I drove home, I questioned everything about our future.
