I Unexpectedly Returned Home Early and Caught My MIL in Our Bed Doing Terrible Things

Maddie, pregnant and hopeful of improving relations with her mother-in-law, walks in on Meredith conducting a bizarre ritual in their bedroom. Surrounded by candles and Theo’s memorabilia with his ex-wife, Kelsey, Meredith claims she’s blessing the space. Maddie confronts her, triggering an argument and ultimately kicking Meredith out. Maddie, shaken, avoids the master bedroom until Theo returns.

She shows him evidence, prompting a heart-to-heart with Meredith, who admits her struggles. Theo insists she seeks counseling to mend their relationship. Over time, Meredith makes amends, even organizing a baby shower and bonding with their newborn. Maddie remains cautious, wary of Meredith’s past fixation on Kelsey. Despite the progress, she’s not ready to fully trust her mother-in-law yet.
