“God — Is All Right There”: Singer Raves About New Life, Her Faith

Pop star Gwen Stefani and country music sensation Blake Shelton tied the knot in 2021 and now reside on Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch, a place she’s come to cherish for its values and natural beauty, a world away from California.

In an interview with People, Stefani talked about adapting to her new rural life and reflected on the differences from her childhood expectations. She confessed, “I’m not a fan of dirt, bugs, or humidity, but Oklahoma is breathtaking. It feels like stepping into a different world—a place where nature and spirituality intertwine.”

She shared how her current life couldn’t be further from her childhood vision, recalling, “I used to watch my parents gardening and doing yard work and thought I’d never want a tree on my property.”

Interestingly, Stefani now finds fulfillment in working the land, saying, “In Oklahoma, we’re constantly working, but it’s a different kind of work. It’s reminiscent of what my mom did, and now I understand it!”

Reflecting on her unexpected romance with Shelton, whom she met on “The Voice” in 2014, Stefani admitted, “I never saw this coming with Blake. It was a beautiful surprise. Falling in love with him felt like coming home, like destiny.”

She also opened up about the challenging period when her first marriage ended, saying, “My life fell apart, a familiar story for many. It was a painful reset, but faith and prayer helped me through.”

In summary, Gwen Stefani has found unexpected happiness and purpose in her life on Blake Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch, embracing its beauty and tranquility, while cherishing her newfound love and the strength she discovered during tough times.
