Rachel had been raising her daughter, Emily, on her own, harboring deep resentment toward her ex-husband, Jack. They rarely saw each other, but met at the amusement park for Emily’s birthday. Unexpectedly, Jack’s mother, Linda, and Emily’s godmother, Sarah, who caused their divorce, also joined.
