Alfonso Ribeiro said his four-year-old daughter will need “months” to recover from her “scary” injuries.

Alfonso Ribeiro, best known as the host of Dancing with the Stars, expressed gratitude for the medical care received by his four-year-old daughter, Ava Sue, after a scooter accident. Despite the challenging procedure, Ava is displaying remarkable recovery progress.

Alfonso is eagerly looking forward to celebrating the Fourth of July in Washington, D.C., with his family, highlighting Ava’s resilience. Reflecting on the accident, he commended her strength and reassured that although the scar remains, it will gradually fade. Alfonso and Angela Unkrich, his wife, share their joy in being Ava’s parents, in addition to their two other children.

Angela also emphasized the importance of safety during Ava’s birthday celebrations. Their strong family bond endures through challenging times.
