The daughter of Alfonso Ribeiro, renowned for his role in “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” endured a devastating accident just 24 hours before her fourth birthday. Ava Sue, while riding a sit-down scooter, suffered severe injuries that necessitated surgical intervention.

Ava Sue’s injuries included extensive bruising, burns around her right eye, and significant scarring on her right elbow and shoulder. Alfonso Ribeiro and his wife, Angela Ribeiro, provided updates on their daughter’s condition. Alfonso expressed his gratitude towards Kare MD Skin Health for their prompt emergency services and the surgical procedure aimed at minimizing scarring. He commended Ava Sue’s bravery during the surgery and extended his appreciation to the medical staff for their swift response.

Angela Ribeiro shared her motherly instinct, revealing that she had a premonition that something unfortunate might occur. Although it was not the ideal way for Ava Sue to spend her final day as a three-year-old, she displayed tremendous courage throughout the process.
