A Utah Father And Daughter Are Dead After A Bulldozer Fell On Top Of Their Pickup Truck Over The Weekend

A devastating accident in Ogden Canyon on Saturday took the lives of Richard David Hendrickson, CEO and president of Lifetime Products, and his 16-year-old daughter Sally. As described by the Utah Highway Patrol, a bulldozer being towed by a truck broke loose and fell onto their pickup truck, killing them instantly.

Hendrickson was more than just a company leader, according to Lifetime Products. He was a man with diverse talents, legendary mechanical aptitude, and an exceptional ability to connect with people. Utah Governor Spencer Cox, a friend of Hendrickson, expressed his condolences, saying, “I’m mourning the loss of my friend and leader… my prayers are with the family.

The community is deeply affected by this tragic event. Hendrickson was also the stake president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Two other passengers in the pickup truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The accident occurred at 12:49 p.m. on Saturday, and both Hendrickson and Sally were declared deceased at the scene. The family and friends of Richard and Sally are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

The community will deeply miss them, and their loss will be profoundly felt.
