A Sales Assistant Told My Wife She Wasn’t ‘Pretty Enough’ to Work in Their Store — I Returned a Few Days Later for the Perfect Revenge

A store assistant made my wife Emma cry by being mean when she inquired about a job. Emma, passionate about fashion, was devastated. Hearing her story, I was furious and decided to teach the assistant a lesson.

I reached out to my friend Mike, who works in fashion. We planned a ruse. I dressed sharply and visited the store, asking the assistant for help. She became attentive, eager for a big sale. After browsing, I pretended to call my wife but actually called Mike.

Mike arrived, posing as a talent scout. He hinted he was looking for fresh talent, making the assistant excited. However, he dismissed her, saying she didn’t fit what he was looking for. Instead, he turned to me and suggested my wife Emma might be perfect.

The assistant was stunned. I told her, “Maybe next time, you’ll think twice before judging someone.” Emma later met with Mike, who boosted her confidence, even though she didn’t pursue modeling.

A week later, we returned to the shopping center. Emma walked confidently past the store, laughing off the memory. Sometimes, the best revenge is lifting up the ones you love and helping them see their true worth.
