My MIL Ruined My Wedding Dress during the Ceremony, but Karma Hit Her Back Immediately

My mother-in-law (MIL) tried to separate me and her son because she didn’t approve of me. On our wedding day, she pulled a stunt I couldn’t forgive, and karma quickly came for her!

Josh and I had been together for five years, but his mother, Samantha, disapproved due to my ordinary background. She had high hopes for a “better” match for her son. Samantha’s disapproval started with minor things, like “forgetting” my birthday, but escalated when Josh proposed. She faked a heart attack to ruin the proposal, but we saw through her ploy.

On our wedding day, Samantha interrupted our vows, splashing red paint on my dress. Josh demanded she leave, and the ceremony continued, though the mood was dampened. Karma soon struck Samantha. A friend “accidentally” delivered manure to her garden before a grand gala she planned. The event was a disaster, and she received a hefty fine for improper disposal.

Samantha’s reputation was tarnished, and the local newspaper ran a story about the “Gala Gone Wrong.” Meanwhile, Josh and I took a delayed honeymoon and hired an artist to paint a mural of a red dress on our garage door, reclaiming the color.

Upon our return, we held a family intervention. Samantha realized the impact of her actions and promised to change. Slowly, she became more respectful, even offering to replace my wedding dress. The lesson? Karma needs a little nudge to set things right.
