My Husband Refused to Help Get the Kids Ready for School, Taking a Bath for an Hour Instead – I Taught Him a Harsh Lesson

Vienna’s husband, Adam, had a habit of taking hour-long baths every morning, which became unbearable when she needed help getting the kids ready for school on the day of her important job interview. Ignoring her pleas, Adam said, “My bath is my escape from you and the kids.”

Vienna’s frustration reached a boiling point. Determined to teach Adam a lesson, she devised a plan. The next morning, she replaced his bath oils with baby oil, swapped his playlist with the kids’ songs, and turned down the hot water. Adam’s bath turned into a nightmare of slippery skin, loud music, and lukewarm water.

Despite his annoyance, Adam continued his baths, prompting Vienna to escalate her pranks. She added glitter-filled bath bombs, toy boats in cold water, and a motion sensor alarm. Each prank left Adam more frustrated and wet, but he still didn’t change his ways.

Vienna involved the kids in the final prank: they staged a fake emergency, and while Adam was distracted, she set up an air horn alarm in the bathroom. When he stepped into the tub, the alarm blared, startling him.

Finally, Adam understood the importance of partnership. He reduced his bath time and started helping with the morning routine. As a final touch, Vienna replaced his shampoo with neon pink hair dye, making him a neighborhood spectacle. Adam’s long baths ended, replaced by quick showers and a newfound appreciation for teamwork.

And that, Vienna mused, was how she mastered the art of chore distribution.
