On Wedding Day, Groom Learns Wife Deleted His Foster Mom’s Name from Guest List – Story of the Day

William was devastated when his foster mother, Violet, didn’t show up at his wedding, so he left to find her. His bride, Hazel, followed and revealed a heartbreaking truth.

When they arrived at Violet’s house, she explained how she had been turned away at the wedding because her name wasn’t on the guest list. Hazel admitted she had removed Violet’s name after learning a disturbing story from her father. He claimed Violet had fostered William only for financial gain.

Violet confirmed the story but explained how she fell in love with William and spent all the government money on him, even building a college fund. Her love for him transformed her life, and she worked hard to provide for him.

William, shocked but calm, asked Hazel why she hadn’t discussed her concerns with him first. Hazel tearfully apologized, realizing she had acted rashly. Violet forgave her, understanding her protective instincts.

They returned to the wedding, where Violet was welcomed. During the reception, William reassured Violet, “You are my mom, no matter how it started.” Violet, moved by his words, rested her head on his shoulder, content.

The wedding continued beautifully, with Hazel and Violet forming a newfound bond, ready to move forward as a family.
