After losing her husband, Lucy moved in with her son and daughter-in-law, Connor and Eve. Initially, Eve took on household chores, but over time, Lucy found herself doing more. As Christmas approached, Eve ordered Lucy to do the shopping and cooking for nine guests without consulting her. Lucy realized she had become a maid, not a guest. Lucy, understanding Eve had learned her lesson, forgave her and emphasized her limitations. Eve, realizing the importance of teamwork, offered to make Lucy tea and insisted she relax. The experience brought understanding and appreciation between the two women, strengthening their bond as family.
