Husband Books 1st Class Seats for Him & Friend Then Books His Wife in Economy

In August, a woman shared her dilemma on Reddit’s “AITA” forum after her husband invited her on his annual trip but booked first-class tickets for himself and a friend, leaving her in economy class. When confronted, he dismissed her concerns, stating, “I paid for your ticket… Isn’t that enough?” Despite his later plea for reconsideration, she chose not to go. Her husband’s friend then criticized her for being entitled. The woman blocked him, and her husband, justifying his actions, claimed it was his way of including her. Seeking opinions, she asked, “Am I the [expletive] for not accepting economy class? By the way, [my husband] is perfectly capable of financing the trip.” The incident highlighted a rift in the couple’s communication and raised questions about inclusivity in their relationship.
