My Mom Kicked Me Out of Home after Dad’s Death – but I Returned for Payback Years Later

A 23-year-old Reddit user shared his tale of revenge after being kicked out by his mother following his father’s death. The father’s will secured the son’s inheritance until he turned 21. The mother quickly moved in with a new partner, leading to strained relations with her son.

Feeling neglected and unwelcome, the son was eventually asked to leave at 17. Years later, armed with his inheritance, he decided to reclaim his properties, including the house where his mother lived. His plan involved renovating and renting out the property for his Master’s degree. Reddit users largely supported the son’s actions, citing his mother’s prior betrayal and prioritization of her new partner’s family.
