My Sister Stole My Fiancé a Month Before the Wedding and My Parents Took Her Side — I Paid a Visit to Their Wedding

What was supposed to be the happiest day of my life turned into a nightmare. I went from bride-to-be to the uninvited guest crashing the wedding—for revenge. But karma got there first.

Ethan made me feel like the luckiest woman alive when he proposed. We planned everything together—flowers, cake, music. It was perfect. Until a month before the wedding.

I came home early to surprise him—only to find my sister, Lauren, in his bed.

“We didn’t want to lie anymore,” he said. Then, the final blow: “I love her.”

My parents sided with them. “Ethan makes Lauren happy,” Mom said. “The wedding’s still happening—with her as the bride.”

I was devastated. But on the wedding day, I had a plan—to expose them when the officiant asked for objections.

Then, I arrived at the venue. No music. No laughter. Just stunned guests and police officers.

Ethan had been arrested at a bus station. A con artist, he’d scammed three other women before me. He stole wedding deposits, gifts, and money, then vanished.

Lauren, now the abandoned bride, sobbed at the altar. My parents sat in shock. And for the first time in weeks—I smiled.

As guests left, an officer approached me. “Guess you dodged a bullet.”

I sighed. “Yeah, I did.”

He smiled. “Coffee sometime? With someone who isn’t a criminal?”

That was a year ago.

Tomorrow? I’m marrying him.

Life has a funny way of working out.
