My Husband Bought First Class Tickets for Himself and His Mom Leaving Me and the Kids in Economy – My Lesson to Him Was Harsh

My husband Clark booked first-class seats for himself and his mom, leaving me in economy with our two kids. The nerve! When I asked about it, he shrugged, saying, “It’s just a few hours, Soph. You’ll be fine.”

As Clark and his mom sipped champagne, I decided to teach him a lesson. Before boarding, I had discreetly taken his wallet, knowing it would come in handy. A few hours into the flight, I watched as Clark enjoyed an expensive meal—until he realized his wallet was missing.

Frantically, he searched his seat, eventually coming to me for help. I gave him $200, knowing it wouldn’t cover his tab, and suggested he ask his mom. The look on his face was priceless.

For the rest of the flight, Clark and his mom sat in awkward silence. Meanwhile, I enjoyed my popcorn and economy seat with a sense of sweet revenge. After landing, Clark continued searching for his wallet, unaware it was safely tucked in my bag.

Lesson learned: next time, think twice before leaving your family behind!
