I had enjoyed ten years of peace in my quiet neighborhood until Tim moved in next door. At first, we exchanged pleasantries, and I thought we’d get along. But that quickly changed when Tim asked to use my driveway while his was being repaved. I had to decline—we didn’t have space with all our cars.
Tim didn’t take it well. He started parking in my driveway, blocking me in despite my polite requests to stop. But when I found “SELFISH JERK” spray-painted in bright orange on my lawn, I knew it was time to act.
I called my brother, who runs a landscaping business, and together we installed a harmless chalk-based dye in my sprinklers. The next morning, as Tim walked his dog past my house, they were blasted with bright blue water. He looked absolutely ridiculous, drenched and dripping blue.
Later, Tim stormed over, furious, but I stood calmly at my door. “What are you going to do, Tim? Call the cops over some water?” He left speechless, and since then, I haven’t had any issues.
For now, the peace is back, but I’m ready if he tries anything again.
