Every Babysitter Quit after Meeting My Husband – So I Hid a Nanny Cam to Find Out Why

When three babysitters quit after one day, Sarah knew something was wrong. Desperate for answers, she set up a hidden nanny cam.

The next day, Sarah hired Rachel, a promising new babysitter. After leaving, Sarah parked nearby and watched the live feed on her phone. Everything seemed fine until her husband, Dave, arrived home early. He casually greeted Rachel before sitting her down for a talk.

Sarah’s heart pounded as she heard Dave claim Sarah was struggling with postpartum depression and the kids could be overwhelming. His tone grew darker, hinting that it was best for babysitters to leave before things got “messy.” Rachel, now clearly uncomfortable, quickly left.

Shocked, Sarah confronted Dave the next morning. “I know what you’ve been doing. Why?”

Dave confessed he believed Sarah should stay home with the kids instead of returning to work, thinking he was “protecting” her. Furious, Sarah saw it for what it was—control, not care. “You decided that for me?” she demanded.

Dave tried to apologize, but the damage was done. Sarah packed her things, heartbroken but determined. She needed time to think. As she left with the kids, she knew she had to take control of her life again, even if it meant facing an uncertain future.
