“32-Year-Old Woman Attacked by Polar Bear After Entering Zoo Enclosure”

A 32-year-old woman, identified as Mandy K, entered a polar bear enclosure at the Berlin Zoo while the bears were being fed. She had to climb over a fence, hedges, and a wall to access the enclosure. As she leaped over the barriers, one of the bears bit her arms, legs, and back, causing significant injuries.

Six zookeepers intervened to distract the bears and rescue the woman. After a struggle, they managed to scare the bear away, saving her. Following the attack, the woman underwent surgery to treat her wounds and is now in recovery.

It was later revealed that the woman is a teacher who had faced difficulty finding employment, which had led to her desperate act.

This incident highlights the dangers of entering animal enclosures at zoos and serves as a reminder of the potential risks involved.
